Rubén Jiménez Marrufo said… - Hi! So is your CUIP metamodel in DSL Tools of VS2008 shareable? It would be a good point to start with the migration to VS2010. It would be great to get into the guts of ModelBus and MEF with a DSL so "attractive". I was thinking about trying to connect it with new VS UML models. I think it would follow the Microsoft strategy of mixing UML, as base language, and DSLs to model those domains where the adaptation of UML would be a little fuzzy.

- Thanks Pedro!! I'm really interested in your CUIP patterns, and I was trying to implement its metamodel with DSL Tools to test ModelBus and some new features of 2010 version. How is this work? Is it still active or does it evolve in anything different?

A nice post, I specially agree with the part of how to apply UML to specify parts of the system that go beyond its conceptual schema / domain model (e.g. users roles and permissions).
