9th Model-Driven Web Engineering (MDWE 2013) at Aalborg, Denmark

July 8, 2013 all day
Web Engineering is a specific domain in which systematic development is needed and therefore approaches such as model-driven and agile development can be successfully applied. Existing model-based Web engineering approaches already provide excellent methods and tools for the design and development of most kinds of Web applications. They address different concerns using separate models (content, navigation, presentation, workflows, etc.) and come with model compilers that produce most of the…See More

Profile Information

My interest in Model Driven Software Development:
I present a list of main MDE aspects I currently working:

Definition of graphical modeling and model transformations for defining Rich Client Applications (RIAs, Desktop and moviles).

Model-Driven for Object-Relational Mapping frameworks (Hibernate, JPA, Entity Framework, etc.)

Model-Driven development for introducing a Semantic perspective to the Rich Internet Applications
My experience of Model Driven Software Development:
I have been working during last ten years in methodologies that apply model-driven development for Web applications and desktop applications.
I have an industrial experience in the development of olivanova tool in CARE Technologies company. After, I have started a research carrier in the university of Alicante and I have focused on Model-Driven for Web Engineering. Currently, I am organizer of the Model-Driven Web Engineering Workshop (7th edition).
I our group we are developing a model-driven approach for develop Rich Internet Applications called OOH4RIA. http://suma2.dlsi.ua.es/ooh4ria.
