"Regardless of how it's expressed, it seems to me that the more important question is whether or not the model in question is sufficiently precise to serve its purpose. Text can be transformed into graphics and vice versa."

Form based DSL frameworks

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone here has had experiences with creating form-based DSLs in Eclipse which populate Ecore models? I was just wondering what the process would be Are there any form-based frameworks available which generate most of the presentation content from the ecore model (i.e. based on hints)? CheersNeilSee More

First International Workshop on Feature Oriented Software Development (FOSD2009) at GPCE 2009

First Workshop on Feature-Oriented Software Development (FOSD)in conjunction with MODELS’09, GPCE’09, and SLE’09Denver, Colorado, October 6th, 2009with a Keynote by Don Batory orientation is an emerging paradigm of software development. It supports the largely automatic generation of large software systems from a set of units of functionality, so called features. Hello Neil,

I saw your post in "How MDA maps to Product Lines".

I have a specific interest (or role) in the Configuration Management and Build Management aspects of this. I work in a small software firm where we have introduced MDD, and are using it to do SPL (or trying to). Would be happy to discuss this further if your interested.
