16th Domain-Specific Modeling workshop at Amsterdam

October 30, 2016 from 8:30am to 5pm
Domain-Specific Modeling (DSM) provides a modern solution to demands for higher productivity by constricting the gap between problem and solution modeling. In the past, productivity gains have been sought from new programming languages. Domain-specific languages and modeling provide a viable solution for continuing to raise the level of abstraction beyond coding, making development faster and easier for all participants. The workshop welcomes submissions that address Domain-Specific Modeling on…See More

Graphical Modeling Language Development at Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark

July 3, 2012 all day
This workshop looks at principles of modeling language development, particularly graphical modeling languages for domain-specific needs. We seek contributions that are backed up by experiences on developing modeling languages. We do not focus on tools, but recognize the need for metamodel-based tools, which significantly ease the production of modeling environments. These tools also enable experimentation with the language as it is built, and remove the burden of tool creation and maintenance…See More

Eclipse plug-in for integrating MetaEdit+ to Eclipse

Traditionally, it has been difficult for development teams to combine the use of models and code - modeling tools and programming environments. The reason is partly because of the modeling languages used and partly because of the tools. With the Eclipse plug-in, domain-specific models, expressed as diagrams, matrices or tables in MetaEdit+, can be browsed and used directly from Eclipse. The MetaEdit+ plug-in for Eclipse allows generators to import and integrate the generated code with the code…See More

It's nice to have you on the group, since I consider (and probably many others on board) you and Kelly to be two of the "top guys" in MDSD/DSM. Your insight will be quite appreciated.

I just bought your book and I am about to give it a read.

Welcome to the group.
