Profile Information

My interest in Model Driven Software Development:
Necessary for quality and maintainability as well as productivity. Past work in realtime and network systems; currently spatial data analysis work, with strong emphasis on physical modeling; also global/regional atm/bio/geo/ocean climate modeling. Integration of data and analysis with web presentation is now an essential part of any computational science.
My experience of Model Driven Software Development:
Past experience with I-Logix Rhapsody, Argo, Gentleware; now Altova. 1999-2001: designed UML-based OAM modules for telecom equipment by hand, and using Rhapsody; central office markets disappeared. Now working on web code generation using Altova XMLspy/MissionKit.
