What do you think about the SEMAT initiative by Ivar Jacobson and others?

Last month I had the honour to be among one of the first to hear Ivar speak about his new initiative SEMAT at Devoxx in Antwerp, Belgium.
I think it is really a great initiative that will hopefully help to clean up the mess we are in right now with all the different software development methods.
