Dear tool provider,
to test our software we maintain a set of simple 'unit test' models covering basic functionality (primitive types, relations, transaction/state transitions, inheritance, a mass test).
The goal is for each model to produce a fully working application (ui, bl, db) from it.
I'd like to share these models and challenge other tool providers to show your solutions' capabilities - or vice versa: to challenge us by contributing more test cases!
Currently the test models are stored in my personal namespace in the oomodels repository:
http://www.oomodels.org/index.php/Artefact:Bundle/net/leue/andreas/...
In case there's interest in the community here to elevate this to a full fledged "MDSD Benchmark", I'd suggest to move the agreed models to another namespace like e.g. net/modeldrivensoftware or alike.
Note: test models can be downloaded automatically in machine readable format and can be converted to other formats on the server side by adding converters to the wiki. It's actually easy to do that and might boil down to editing a wiki page. And of course the original modelling language is also debatable - but I fell in love with "WIML" (
http://www.oomodels.org/index.php/Type:org/oomodels/WIML ) and it'd be my favorite.
