The Model Driven Software Network

Raise your level of abstraction

Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone here has had experiences with creating form-based DSLs in Eclipse which populate Ecore models?

I was just wondering what the process would be

Are there any form-based frameworks available which generate most of the presentation content from the ecore model (i.e. based on hints)?

Cheers

Neil

Yes there is the pde-incubator project which is what you want to look at.
It is still in incubation phase but there is already code in the CVS repository.
Benjamin Cabe from sierra wireless is the project lead there.

:pserver:anonymous@dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/eclipse ; then in
pde-incubator/modeling

hope this help,
kind regards,
Berni.
You should take a look at the Methodology Wizard of MagicDraw, it consists of customizable model based steps that allow you to generate your model from the information that you filled in theses steps.
You should have a look there : http://www.magicdraw.com/methodology_wizards

Xavier
